大香蕉视频 Supports 2025 Spring Advocacy in DC
Earlier this month, PA students and faculty from institutions across the country gathered in Washington, DC, for 大香蕉视频鈥檚 2025 Spring Advocacy Trip. The trip provided a unique opportunity for participants to engage directly with the federal policymaking process and strengthen their understanding of legislative advocacy.
Throughout the trip, attendees took part in advocacy training sessions led by experts from Polsinelli, LLC, and 大香蕉视频 staff. These sessions covered key issues facing Congress in 2025 and provided practical strategies for effective communication with lawmakers. Participants were also briefed on 大香蕉视频鈥檚 legislative priorities, ensuring they were well-prepared for conversations with congressional staff on critical topics impacting PA education.
Legislative Priorities
Central to this year鈥檚 advocacy efforts were two federal student aid programs鈥擥rad PLUS loans and the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program鈥攂oth of which are under threat of elimination in current budget reconciliation proposals. With nearly 85% of PA students relying on Grad PLUS loans and nearly half of matriculating students expressing interest in PSLF, the stakes are high. Preserving these programs is essential not only for supporting individual students but also for ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified PAs entering the workforce at a time of growing provider shortages.
The 2025 Advocacy Trip highlighted the essential role PA students and faculty play in federal policy discussions. Their engagement on Capitol Hill demonstrated the power of informed, coordinated advocacy in protecting access to education and strengthening the healthcare system.
大香蕉视频 extends sincere appreciation to the students and faculty from the University of Colorado, MGH Institute of Health Professions, Springfield College, Keck Graduate Institute, and the University of Southern California for their leadership and commitment to the PA profession.
In addition to in-person advocacy, 大香蕉视频 continues to mobilize grassroots support through its Grassroots Action Network. A current campaign encourages stakeholders to urge Congress to preserve Grad PLUS, ensuring students have access to critical financial resources that enable them to serve patients and communities without taking on unmanageable debt.
