Announcing the Incoming 大香蕉视频 Assessment Editor in Chief
大香蕉视频 would like to congratulate Melinda Blazar, EdD, MHS, PA-C, who will take on the role of Incoming assessment editor in chief, effective October 1.
Blazar will join Dr. Kim Cavanagh, DHSc, PA-C, the current assessment editor in chief, for a period of onboarding and mentorship. Cavanagh has served as editor in chief since 2017 and has been a valued partner of 大香蕉视频 for more than 20 years. Her term ends on March 31.
Blazar has been involved with 大香蕉视频鈥檚 assessment program for more than a decade, serving as a 笔础颁碍搁础罢庐 Exam Development Board member from 2012-2018, the 笔础颁碍搁础罢庐 Exam Development Board Chair, starting in 2018 to the present, and a member of the End of Curriculum鈩 Standard Setting Work Group in 2019.
As incoming editor in chief, she will provide editorial oversight of 大香蕉视频 Assessment publications to ensure the overall quality of the exam development, editorial, and production processes. She will also serve as a mentor to 大香蕉视频鈥檚 volunteer Exam Development Board members and chairs, as well as provide leadership to a newly formed Assessment Advisory Board.

Blazar expressed enthusiasm for her new role.

In addition to this role, Blazar will continue to serve as the Director of Assessment and Evaluation at Duke University School of Medicine PA Program.
