STAR Is Reborn
The Support to Advance Research (STAR) Program is accepting research proposals for the 2023 Program Survey and is expanding its constellation of eligible surveys. The STAR Program is adapted from the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine鈥檚 . The program goals are to:
- Increase the quality and frequency of research and scholarly activity among faculty of 大香蕉视频 member institutions
- Improve the process for surveying constituents with better questions and fewer surveys
- Provide a clearinghouse of data that faculty of 大香蕉视频 member institutions can use to produce scholarly work.
This renaissance is happening in conjunction with changes in the frequency of the Program Survey to a bi-annual release to provide time and space to analyze the data and gain a greater understanding of our member programs. Due to the heterogeneity in program matriculation and graduation dates, the Student Surveys are conducted annually, year-round.
As a result, PA faculty will have the opportunity to contribute to 大香蕉视频 Program Survey and 大香蕉视频 Faculty and Directors Survey bi-annually and to the 大香蕉视频 Student Surveys annually. Therefore, 大香蕉视频 will conduct two application cycles annually in the winter and the summer for PA faculty to contribute to submitting no more than 10 survey questions to the surveys. This year鈥檚 cycles are as follows:
- The Call for Proposals for the 2023 Program Survey is now open. Applications must be submitted through the online application platform no later than 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, April 2.
