Position Summary
Kettering College invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Principal Faculty position in the Physician Assistant Program. This role supports curriculum development, classroom instruction, student advising, program evaluation, and involvement in admissions, recruitment, and retention activities within a Christian environment. Faculty will have the opportunity to maintain clinical skills or pursue professional development one day per week.

Key Responsibilities
Curriculum and Instruction
- Plan, implement, and evaluate the didactic curriculum.
- Serve as a team instructor for assigned courses.
- Coordinate and oversee H&P practice labs, skills check-offs, OSCE sessions, and exams.
- Administer and provide feedback for OSCEs and remediation as needed.
Program Administration
- Participate in the evaluation and revision of academic policies and curriculum.
- Assist in managing program-related databases and data analysis.
- Provide periodic reports to accrediting bodies and institutional divisions.
- Represent the program at college and professional events.
Student Engagement
- Advise and mentor students throughout the academic program.
- Evaluate student performance and support remediation.
- Contribute to admissions processes, including recruitment and selection.
Faculty Development and Leadership
- Attend interdepartmental and college-wide faculty development programs.
- Actively participate in professional organizations and promote the PA profession.
- Engage in interdepartmental collaboration to advance program interests.
Special Assignments
- Serve as Canvas LMS and ExamSoft Administrator, overseeing course syllabi, instructional objectives, question banks, and exam evaluation.
- Contribute to program and college-wide service and scholarship activities
Other Duties
- Maintain current NCCPA certification and clinical practice.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director.
Qualifications
Required
- Masterâs degree or higher.
- NCCPA-certified PA (PA-C) or board-certified MD/DO.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
Preferred
- At least 2 years of instructional experience in PA education.

This position reports directly to the Program Director of the Physician Assistant Program.
