St. Ambrose University invites applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position beginning July 1, 2025, for its Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program (MPAS). This is a 12-month position with salary and benefits commensurate with qualifications. We are seeking a motivated individual to collaborate with program faculty, the program director, and medical director in teaching both the didactic and clinical phases of the curriculum. This role also includes facilitating simulation experiences and labs, advising students, monitoring progress, and serving on committees for admissions, assessment, and evaluation.

Minimum qualifications include current NCCPA certification with eligibility for licensure in Iowa; an MPAS degree or degree in an appropriately related field; and a minimum of three years clinical experience. Prior teaching experience in an MPAS (or similar) program is desirable. The MPAS program is housed in the university's College of Health and Human Services which serves students preparing for careers in healthcare, education, and human services.
